Congrats to the fabulous Foo Fighters, not only for winning the 5 Grammys last night, but for reminding the world ROCK IS NOT DEAD! It is very much alive! And reminding people to write music from the heart and mind, and not relying on techno-tricks was cool, too! That is was rock was made from. And no slight to anyone who's not recording analog. But sometimes we need to bring things back to basics to make them important again. The Foos won for Best Rock Album, Best Rock Performance (Walk), Best Rock Song (Walk), Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance (White Limo), and Best Long-Form Video (Back and Forth.) Plus their performances last night we killer, as usual! And I loved the set with Deadmaus. Was that cool or WHAT? Love the mouse heads! Manson told a radio show he's actually shooting the video for it next week. He said, “The first single you'll be getting shoved up your ears very soon is called 'No Reflection'. The record's done, shooting the video, I think next week. It's got a very special bonus track on it, features a good friend of mine. I won't mention his name yet.
