Had a blast yesterday with Halestorm! We dined on Mickie D's breakfast and entered the studios for a nice 30 minute chat. They were ecstatic about their song “Here's to Us” being used last night on “Glee.” So all you “gleeks” need to weigh in on what you thought about it! Meanwhile, you've got to check out www.halestormrocks.com to see the winner of their Valenthyde Contest. Pretty cool! Look for the new Halestorm cd, “A Strange Case of” in stores April 10th. Lzzy looks amazing and was sportin' some hot boots (as usual.) I love that she creates her own jewelry and some of her stage clothes. And get some new questions in for her for our “Ask Lzzy” feature. See the home page for the link…..Green Day has posted two more clips online of behind-the-scenes footage taken from the band's current recording sessions, according to HenneMusic. The punk trio hit the studio last week on Valentine's Day to begin work on their ninth album, uploading a video clip that day. The two new ones feature the band members working in the studio as well as riding motorcycles, relaxing and hanging out. Nice to be so happy go lucky, eh?….Rob Zombie and Megadeth will be touring together in May! See Road Rage for the deets….I heard a bunch of songs yesterday from the forthcoming P.O.D. album, and what I heard was amazing! Howard Benson, who did their first couple of albums, is back and worked very closely with the band on this one. There's a slower tune called “Beautiful” which just blew me away! The album will be out in mid-to late June. Single will be coming in about a month….Watched the new Black Stone Cherry video for “In MY Blood” over on RockAccess. I love that song and the video does it justice. Can't wait to see the boys when they come around! We haven't seen them since their latest album was released. Have to do something about that!…..Wes Borland's Black Light Burns have signed a deal with Rocket Science/THC records and will release their second album, “The Moment You Realize You're Gonna Fail,” this summer. In the hardDrive studios today, Soulicit and Maylene & The Sons of Disaster with Webmistress Shawn!…Happy 94th to Don Pardo, he's been the voice of Saturday Night Live ever since they signed on the air!
