Happy Thursday! Two more days til St Patrick's Day! The day here in NYC where more people are arrested for drunkeness than on New Year's Eve! Caution to tourists, watch for puke puddles and don't wear your good shoes!….So Shinedown's Brent Smith (as I said to him, the new and improved 2012 model! He's lost a ton of weight and looks amazing!) and Zack Myers were in the hardDrive studios with me yesterday and it was great! They are the nicest guys!!! Even took about a zillion pictures with me afterward to make sure I had one we were all happy with! Hey, when ya get to be my age, ya need “beauty lighting!” LOL Anyhow, the guys told me they are so looking forward to fan reaction to “Amaryllis” and can't wait to get out on the road next week! The album drops on the 27th and will include the first ever interactive e-book, the first of it's kind for the music industry, called “For Your Sake: Inside the Making of Amaryllis.” I guess whether you buy the record in a store or online, you will get access to it. I can't wait to see it! Anyhow, look for the interview clips to air on hardDrive and hardDrive XL with Lou Brutus in the coming weeks…Lou will be on the hotLine tonight with Chad Gray of HellYeah! Their “Band of Brothers” album is set for Jul 17th release and a single is TBD and TBA. (For those of you who don't know, To Be Determined and To Be Announced. Which means, there is no decided single title or release date, just to clarify! Thank you.) Meanwhile, HellYeah will tour Japan and Jakarta, Indonesia Mar 31-Apr 7. Wonder if they know you can't swear on stage in Indonesia or they pull the plug on the show!!!!
