Will be good to see what he’s up to….Pulse of Radio reports it’s only been nine months since the Red Hot Chili Peppers released their latest album, I’m With You, but the band plans to make 18 new tracks available sometime later this year. According to Consequence Of Sound, bassist Flea recently tweeted that the band has “been writing stuff while touring,” adding that they will “put out 18 new songs over the next 6 months on 7 inch and digi.” Drummer Chad Smith chimed in next, tweeting, “Over the next 6 months at least 10 more IWU b sides I promise!” Finally, singer Anthony Kiedis told the crowd at a show in Grand Rapids, Michigan, “We got a storm of seven-inches coming out over the next six months. Keep one eye open.”….The Offspring are debuting their video for “Days Gone By” today on Vevo and their own website. Bob Rock (Metallica) produced their new Days Gone By album, which is set for a Jun 26th release….”Backlash,” the new 10 Years track, is out now and you can hear it on the Monster Energy website….Blabbermouth reports.Slash says a new documentary about him coming out this summer on Blu-ray and DVD, titled The Cat In The Hat: The Story So Far, is “not authorized” and he has “nothing to do with it.” The two-disc, 131-minute set will be released on Aug 21st and claims to feature one disc solely comprised of audio interviews with the former Guns N’ Roses guitarist.
