Ya know, I was just thinking after watching a segment on tv on how easy it is to buy guns and ammo online with no background checks needed. Instead of the government shutting down online gambling sites, maybe they should turn their attention to shutting down the sale of guns ONLINE! Even a child can figure out that logic. I am not saying it’s wrong to own them, it’s just not cool that you can by a gun that can shoot down a helicopter or some insane assault rifle (who needs to own an assault rifle that shoots arounds anyhow? Seriously?!!) from some dude online who asks no questions what you are using it for, nor does he care. All he cares about is the money. COME ON! Does this make any sense to you? It’s time to contact your state legislators to tell them laws need to be changed and enacted to make it illegal to buy guns online! Anyhow, the shock of the senseless murder of a dozen people in Aurora, Colorado over the weekend, and the injuries sustained by dozens more prompted rock musicians to react on Twitter to the senseless violence. As news of the tragedy spread, rockers began to voice their horror.
Nickelback: “We are sickened and saddened at the senseless tragedy in Aurora, CO. Our thoughts are with all those affected by this terrible event.”
Nonpoint: “This world is sick, our thoughts and prayers to all those affected in the Colorado shooting.”
Red: “Our prayers go out to those affected by the shooting in Colorado.”
All That Remains singer Philip Labonte: “Condolences to the families affected in Colorado.”
Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry: “My heart goes out to all the victims and their families of the terrible tragedy in Colorado.”
Disturbed singer David Draiman: “Did they have a sale on ‘crazy’ lately or something? Honestly???!!”
Slash: “The events of last night in Aurora, CO are horrific & tragic. My heart aches for the deceased & the injured. & their families & friends.”
Amy Lee of Evanescence: “Praying for the victims and families in Colorado. What happened is so very wrong. We’re with you.”
