Meanwhile, check out another snippet from “House of Gold and Bones-Part 1” here….System Of A Down frontman Serj Tankian has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for a new recording project, a full classical symphony called Orca. Tankian said, “I have an incredible opportunity to record and perform Orca live with the world renowned Das Karussell Orchestra (featuring members of the Bruckner Orchester) at Brucknerhaus in Linz, Austria on October 28th, 2012 and with your involvement and support, we can make it happen!” Tankian is looking for $25,000 to record the symphony, which he calls a “mix of early-20th-century compositional styles combined with the powerful range of film scoring.” Get more details at http://tinyurl.com/9mkf5dh (Thanks Pulse of Radio)….Our friends at Loudwire posted Linkin Park is encouraging fans to test out the multi-player beta version of the upcoming video game Medal Of Honor: Warfighter, and if three million fans download the beta, the group will unveil its new video for “Castle Of Glass.” The video itself is a mix of live performance footage and gameplay recordings taken from the game itself. In other news, the group is also reaching out to fans who are DJs, producers, and remixers and asking them to make remixes of songs from the band’s current Living Things album. Check out the teaser Linkinpark.com….Ex-Hollywood Undead vocalist Deuce is suing his former bandmates for assault and battery as the result of an incident last May in which Deuce, whose real name is Aron Erlichman, alleged that two members of the group and others jumped him outside a Los Angeles club and beat him badly, leaving him and a friend who was also victimized with permanent injuries. Named in the suit are Hollywood Undead members Dylan “FunnyMan” Alvarez and Jorel “J-Dog” Decker, who were both cited in the police report on the May 25th incident. Erlichman is suing for unspecified damages. The vocalist also claimed that there were a pair of men videotaping the attack as he was being roughed up. Hollywood Undead have yet to comment on the lawsuit…..Antiquiet reports Ex-Screaming Trees drummer Barrett Martin has announced that Mad Season — the band he formed with Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready and late Alice In Chains singer Layne Staley in the mid-’90s — will reissue its sole album, 1995’s Above, as part of an extensive new box set on March 12th. The package will include the remastered album, a live DVD filmed at Seattle’s Moore Theatre, and an assortment of unreleased live recordings. The set will also include three previously unfinished Mad Season recordings, for which singer Mark Lanegan has written lyrics and laid down vocals…Ozzy will be on his wife Sharon‘s CBS-TV daytime chat show, The Talk, tomorrow, Oct 09, to celebrate her 60th birthday. Daughter Kelly will also be there, although it is unclear if their other daughter Aimee or son Jack will join, as Jack was married over the weekend in Hawaii to long time fiance Lisa Stelly, mom to their baby daughter.
