OMG! I know it’s not right to talk about my favorite team, since they are probably not yours, but Friday I felt so bad for all the Nationals’ fans! (Not Orioles‘ fans) And this morning, I feel bad for my team, the NY Yankees. With Derek Jeter gone, the team seems in disarray, much to MY dismay! Tomorrow’s game will tell. (Although secretly, I would love to see Detroit win for Michigan!)….Metallica are filling the vacated slot left by Green Day on the Voodoo Festival in New Orleans Oct 27th. That’s pretty awesome! They join Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Jack White, Skrillex, Nas and others in the two day music and arts festival in the Crescent City. Meanwhile, Green Day’s producer and Warner Bros Records executive Rob Cavallo has been quoted as saying Billie Joe‘s road to recovery is going to take longer than anticipated and his rehab is no joke! (Rumor had it that is was a sort of hoax.) So we say get well to Billie Joe!….Papa Roach will do a world wide performance on YouTube on Tuesday night, Oct 23 at 5 PM ET. It will mark the band’s first performance since earlier this summer while on the Rockstar Uproar just before the band was forced to leave due to vocal cord problems of Mr Jacoby Shaddix. We are psyched and I know the band can not wait to get back to the stage! Check it out!…Pulse of Radio reports it appears the wheels are falling off the bus of the Rob Zombie–Marilyn Manson tour just nine gigs into the 36-city tour. According to MLive, a war of words ensued between the two co-headliners during Friday night’s (Oct 12th) stop in Detroit on the Twins Of Evil tour. It began with Manson accusing Zombie of cutting his set short, with Manson telling the audience, “I’m going to kick (Zombie’s) ass.” Zombie addressed the situation during his show, telling the crowd, “Some tours just don’t go [expletive] together,” adding that he was tired of Manson’s “rock star [expletive].” He continued taking shots at Manson while performing a cover of Alice Cooper‘s classic “School’s Out,” dedicating the song to “the only real shock rocker there ever was, not some punk-ass bitch, but Alice Cooper.” Oh my! All I can say is Manson didn’t seem up to his best when I saw him in Vegas. Sloppy at best, and gross, actually. Seemed high or drunk on stage. I mean, who else picks up a stage light that’s on the stage and doesn’t think he’s gonna burn his hands? …Meanwhile, on Saturday night, my BF and I went to see actor Russell Crowe film something he called the Indoor Garden Party. I didn’t know what to expect, thought it was he band 30 Odd Foot Grunts or whatever they’re called. Instead, it was an ensemble of actors and musicians from Broadway, film and television. Mostly faces we didn’t recognize, some we did. There was a guy who used to be in the TV show “ER” (he played the red-haired doctor.) There were two female singers (one from the case of Les Miserables) and singer/songwriter Alan Doyle. But in the audience were Chase (Jesse Spencer) from “House” and Emma from the Harry Potter films, (as you can see, I don’t know names so well!) But it was an interesting evening. Apparently we left too early because Sting showed up to perform. My BF was bummed when he read about that on Sunday!
