Santa, are you out there???….Yesterday, Bullet For My Valentine dropped a track off their forthcoming album. The tune, released for their metal friends, is called “Temper Temper.” It is great and you will hear it soon on hardDrive and hardDrive XL! If you can’t wait, hit the band’s website!….Metallica will release their new Quebec Magnetic DVD and Blu-Ray on December 10. The band also announced that they will be releasing it under their own label. The group said, “About a month ago we mentioned that we have a live DVD in the works to complete the Death Magnetic experience and leaned on you to help us decide which songs would be on the main disc. As promised, we’re back now with more details on that DVD, Quebec Magnetic which will find its way to your local retailer, online store, Metallica.com and favorite digital provider on December 10, 2012. This release is a first for us… yes boys and girls, the DVD and Blu-ray will be come out on our very own label in North America! There are still some i’s being dotted and t’s crossed, so we can’t give you a name or fancy logo just yet, but we’re pretty excited that for the first time we get to hold all the reins on a release from start to finish. Since we now get to call all the shots, the double DVD and single disc Blu-ray will be available for a price we thought was very Metallica fan friendly – suggested retail will be $15.98 for either format.”…Check out the Papa Roach YouTube performance and Q&A that went down yesterday here….Monday news of the departure of Lacey Sturm from Flyleaf, today news of the departure of Omaha, NE’s Emphatic singer Patrick Wilson. News out of the camp is the remaining members will be working on new material for the sophomore album, while the singer-search will be stepped into high gear. Last year, Patrick was suffering vocal cord issues and had to leave the road for a time. No word why Wilson is leaving or if it’s a result of the former problems that plagued him. We wish him the best….The release date for Trapt‘s album Reborn is moving to January 22, 2013. Be listening for Lou Brutus’ interview with Chris Taylor Brown on the air soon!….Gotta run.
