Just heard from the manager of the Deftones. Their final two shows of their current tour, Boston and NYC, have been cancelled. Tix can be refunded at point of purchase. The band is holed up in a hotel in Boston and they hope to get a flight out of town back to Sacramento and LA on Wednesday. Hurricane Sandy is really bumming me out since I was supposed to see the band on Tuesday and interview Chino! 🙁 Meanwhile, we’re bracing for tonight’s hit from the storm. We are hearing tides to rise 10-12 feet in lower Manhattan! I mean, this is unheard of! And the water will likely breach the NYC subway system and if it does that, public transportation will be shut down for DAYS! Oh man!
