Soundgarden has posted a series of photos on Instagram (I still haven’t figured out how to use that) taken behind the scenes during the band’s Tuesday (Dec 18th) video shoot for the song “By Crooked Steps.” The clip was directed by Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl. The photos show the band members decked out in what look like biker jackets, along with shots of some sort of card game and Grohl doing his thing on the set. There’s no word yet on when the clip will be released, but you can see the photos at http://tinyurl.com/c5n6qrw …Slash will be making a cameo appearance on an upcoming episode of Anger Management, the sitcom starring his good friend Charlie Sheen. The former Guns N’ Roses guitarist announced via Twitter earlier this week he had already filmed the segment. Slash also revealed he’s working on a new song for the title track for Nothing To Fear, the first film coming from his horror movie production company Slasher Films. It should be out in the spring….This story horrifies me! I am so shocked. Ian Watkins, lead singer of Welsh rock band Lostprophets, has been charged with six child sex offenses, including conspiracy to engage in sexual activity with a female under 13 and the possession and distribution of “indecent images of children.” According to multiple sources in the U.K., two women, one aged 20 and one aged 24, have been slapped with similar charges. All three are being held in police custody after appearing in Cardiff Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (Dec 19th). Bail has already been denied and the 35-year-old Watkins will remain in custody until his next hearing takes place on December 31st. Disgusting. I know the whole innocent til proven guilty trip, but if he did it, he should fry. I knew these kids when they first came around. They were the nicest guys. Then I had heard stories about Ian, but chose to keep them to myself. Now this. I know some folks who once worked with them who have taken their gold records off their wall….Drowning Pool and Flyleaf will team up to show off their new singers on a 2013 U.S. tour beginning on Feb 21st in Philadelphia, ending a month later on March 24th in Tucson, Arizona. Drowning Pool guitarist C.J. Pierce said, “We’re excited as hell to get back out on the road and hang with our fellow Texas rockers Flyleaf. We’ve done some radio shows together in the past but this will be our first real run together. I know Flyleaf has a great new lineup and some amazing new tunes.
