First came news of the departure of Rob Caggiano from Anthrax. Rob is a great guy who made the tough decision on the heels of his band’s Grammy nomination to leave Anthrax after 12 years. Rob is also an accomplished producer, so that is what he wants to devote his time to. I also think he didn’t love to tour. We wish Rob all the best. Now the task of the rest of Anthrax to find a new lead axeman. Wonder who it will be?…..Also read My Darkest Days‘ lead guitarist Sal Costa has left My Darkest Days. From the sound of the tweets, it seemed amicable. The rest of the guys are writing material for their next album. No word on who they’ll replace Sal with yet.
