Day before Valentine’s Day and I’ve got nothin’ for my BF. Some GF I am! I suck!……Bullet For My Valentine stop by the hardDrive Studios today! Temper Temper came out yesterday, so I know they will be hungover from celebrating last night! LOL The album’s really good, and there are two tracks I am absolutely IN LOVE with “Dead to the World” and “Tears Don’t Fall (Part 2).” You can hear all throughout the record their love of all things Metallica, Slayer and Maiden fo’ sho’! I gotta ask them what they think of the scandalous news of fellow Cardiffite Ian Watkins, as well! …..Actually this is a busy week! Tonight is Sound City Players at Hammerstein. (Stop, my over-pulsating heart, Dave Grohl‘s in town!) Look for Dave on Letterman and The Colbert Report this week too! Friday, Killswitch Engage enter our studios! It’s crazy! Glad I got Monday off! …… Blabbermouth reports Stone Sour and Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor was interviewed last month on the red carpet during the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, where he discussed his upcoming book, A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Heaven. Taylor said that the follow-up to his best-selling 2011 memoir, Seven Deadly Sins, is about his experiences with the paranormal, explaining, “It’s basically me trying to figure out how I have this deep belief in the paranormal, and not in God, basically.” Damn, I forgot to ask this when Corey was in a couple of weeks ago. ….Alice In Chains has launched its fourth annual charity eBay auction, featuring items donated by the band and participants in the group’s yearly fantasy football league. Still puzzled why they are waiting so long to reveal the title. But whatever! Stay tuned!….I solved the puzzle at www.zombiesecret.com and unlocked the demon! Well, not really a demon, rather a snippet of what could be the first single off thenext Rob Zombie album, called “Dead City Radio.” Check it out! And I decided, he probably came up with the album’s title, Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor, by using those little refrigerator magnet sets with a ton of words you just string together. Has to be! Listen for Rob on hardDrive XL as Featured Artist of the Week starting Feb 25th….Happy 52nd today to Henry Rollins, who helped save Damian Echols and got him out of jail! Happy 41st to Todd Harrell of 3 Doors Down and as unbelievable as it sounds, Peter Tork of the “Hey Hey We’re” The Monkees is turning 71 today! Not possible!!!!!
