My neighbor’s refrigerator broke down, so she’s stashed a ton of food in my refrig! I’ve been eating great food all week! No cooking this week for this gal! 🙂….Stone Sour is now streaming its new album, House Of Gold And Bones, Part 2, in its entirety at the band’s website. The disc is the second half of a two-record conceptual project based on a short story by singer Corey Taylor. Part 1 arrived last fall, with Part 2 due out on April 9th. We asked Taylor if, now that it’s done, taking on such a huge project ever seemed daunting: “Honestly, I mean, looking back on it, it seemed like a lot at the time, but I’m proud of the fact that we really rose to the challenge of making something this monumental — and not only accomplished it, but really surpassed everything that we were hoping for. I think this is our benchmark as a band.” The first comic book in a series of 4 drops on April 17th….Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington will be honored at the ninth annual MusiCares Map Fund benefit concert, scheduled to take place on May 30th at Club Nokia in downtown Los Angeles. Bennington will be honored with the Stevie Ray Vaughan Award for his dedication to and support of the MusiCares MAP Fund, and for his commitment to helping other addicts with the addiction recovery process. Legendary skateboarder and surfer Tony Alva, an original member of the Dogtown Z-Boys skateboarding team, will be honored alongside Bennington as the recipient of MusiCares’ From the Heart Award for his unconditional friendship and dedication to the mission and goals of the organization (Thanks Pulse Content)….Because I love her so much, check out Cristina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil in this Affliction clothing video of a photo shoot!
