Good morning Radicals! Hope all the fathers out there had a fantastic weekend and a rocking Father’s Day! Now for some news…. SLIPKNOT performed at the Download Festival in England this past weekend, and excitement is high that the band will finally be getting back on track. SHAWN “CLOWN” CRAHAN has said “When I come back, when we come back, it will be time, you will understand, we will understand, and it will be right. We’ll be the first band that could be off for five years and come back like we never were gone. So that’s what it’s all about.” I can’t wait to hear something new from them! … IVAN MOODY of FIVE FINER DEATH PUNCH has revealed a few of the guests we will hear on their soon-to-be-released album “‘The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell, Volume 1” which comes out at the end of July. “We got Max Cavalera and I’m a huge fan of him and we’ve gotten to tour with Soulfly a few times and Sepultura is one of my all time favorite metal acts. We’ve got Jamey Jasta from Hatebreed and him and I go back years and I’ve always admired his style. We’ve got Maria Brink from In this Moment and just to put a twist on everything we´ve got Tech 9. I’m really looking forward to the world getting hold of this.” Along with Rob Halford on “Lift Me Up,” it looks to be quite the gathering of musical talent! Moody has also revealed he’s planning a side-project, although he’s still playing that hand close to his chest for now.
