They were broadcasting live from the show Check the tour out if it’s on it’s way to your town!….On Friday in San Diego at Comic Con, Metallica not only premiered a new trailer for the movie, “Metallica: Through the Never” but also did a Q&A with the director and the star of their upcoming 3-D film. No one is in a rush……Former members of Nirvana joined Paul McCartney on stage during his Seattle concert over the weekend. Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic joined the former Beatle at Safeco Field. Guitarist Pat Smear, who also played for Nirvana on an album, also joined the group on stage. No Nirvana songs were played. The group covered Beatles songs and played “Cut Me Some Slack.” McCartney told the crowd he was in the middle of a Nirvana reunion. Novoselic tweeted, “Thank you @PaulMcCartney for a great show and for having us play with you all.” Of course, Smear and Grohl are also in Foo Fighters, but you knew that!….I am sure it is tempting to scalp bogus concert tickets. Times be tough, but geez, seems like things are getting out of hand! A Chicago man was arrested for allegedly selling counterfeit tickets to this past Friday’s (July 19) Pearl Jam Concert at Wrigley Field. According to RedEye, a man bought last minute Pearl Jam tickets on Craigslistpriced at $250 a piece. He arranged to meet the seller and was suspicious when the seller seemed on edge. The pair completed the purchase and the buyer flagged down police officers and had the seller arrested before the man could drive off. The seller was charged with forgery and was released on a $10,000 bond. I had a couple of friends post shots on FB of the show at Wrigley Field! I think they played a 3 hour set! Heard it was killer!…My friend David Draiman of Device and Disturbed is on a campaign against Rolling Stone‘s decision to put the Boston Bomber on the cover of the magazine.
