Don’t you wish every work week was 4 days long? Sigh…..Finally Friday and what a week it’s been! But next week is gonna be even MORE crazy for this hardDriveRadio producer! This week we did a great interview with Robert Trujillo of Metallica! Monday, I will get the low down on the Matt & Charlotte Tuck wedding which goes down tomorrow in Wales from Bullet For My Valentine drummer Moose! Hopefully everyone will be sober by then. Tuesday, Alter Bridge’s Myles Kennedy and Mark Tremonti enter the hardDrive studios here in NYC and then Nights With Alice Cooper producer Katherine and I jump in her car and drive out to Huntington, Long Island to interview Chester Bennington, Dean and Robert Deleo and Eric Kretz of Stone Temple Pilots, then I catch up with Richard Patrick of Filter. Oh, and I have to vote in the New York Primary before all that. Just another couple of days in the office! LOL God only knows how I get the other 27 hours of programming done, but it happens…..Oh and we can reveal the winner of our METALLICA: THROUGH THE NEVER contest! The disc is due out on Oct 8th and follows up 2010’s AB III. Alter Bridge’s only U.S. show of 2013 will take place four days earlier on Oct4th at the House of Blues in Orlando, Florida. The band will then head over to Europe where they will begin an extensive tour on October 16th that will feature Shinedown and Halestorm on selected dates.
