Day before Halloween. Preparations are being made. Pumpkins are being carved. Candy being purchased (some consumed). Party in my building. Now all I have to do is figure out how to get the costume into the subway since I plan to wear it to the office. Hmmmmm……Discovery Time! I like the new single from Chino Moreno (Deftones), Shaun Lopez (Far) and Chuck Doom. Aka, Crosses†††, their new tune is called “The Epilogue.” Their second album is coming in January. Definitely interested in hearing more. May have also told you I really like this currently unsigned band called Sleepwave, which is fronted by the former lead singer for Underoath, Spencer Chamberlain. (Spencer is currently filling in for the lead singer of Taking Back Sunday, Adam Lazarra, who was forced to leave his band’s tour for a family emergency.) Scary rockster Marilyn Manson appears in a new Halloween-themed video from Will Ferrell‘s online comedy site Funny Or Die, in which he shares scary stories with teens around a campfire. As previously reported, Manson is joining the cast of the hit ABC TV series Once Upon A Time, where he will provide the voice for a being called The Shadow. Manson will make his debut on the season’s eighth episode, scheduled to air in mid-November.
