Today I have become an Apple user. Little bit of a learning curve, but I think I’m getting there. There could be no going back! LOL…..Happy for my friends Korn today for achieving their first number one single of their career with “Never Never”! The closest they ever got was back in 1999 when “Freak On A Leash” got to Number 2. Hoorah! The band is pretty psyched to say the least! I guess listening to me when I said “Never Never” should be the first single worked out! Ha!….Blabbermouth reports Rob Zombie drew a monster crowd of 8,500 people on Saturday (Nov 2nd) to the final night of his Great American Nightmare Halloween horror attraction at FEARPlex in Pomona, California. Nightmare producer Steve Kopelman said, “After 32 years in the haunted house business, the final weekend of Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare had the largest crowds I have ever witnessed . . . We are extremely proud of the event we built and the partnership with Rob Zombie, and look forward to 2014.” Check out their performance of “Dead CIty Radio.” We had our winner Jennifer there and she told me she landed in Los Angeles about a half hour after the shooting at LAX happened on Friday! OMG! Thank God she was ok! Meanwhile, we also had our winner Don and his friend Matt on hand for the Montreal stop of the hardDrive Live Tour with Bullet For My Valentine, Black Veil Brides, Stars in Stereo and Throw The Fight. Sounds like good times were had by all!…..Chris Cornell added 4 more dates to his Songbook acoustic tour. He’s included a new song he’s written for the soundtrack to “12 Years A Slave” called “Misery Chain.” See the new dates in Road Rage….Marilyn Manson is taking his bad self to tv. I know from mutual friends he’s always been infatuated by Hollywood’s tv and movie biz. Now he’s becoming a part of it. First came his bizarre appearance two Sundays ago on “The Talking Dead” (AMC), and now comes news he’s been cast in a small role on HBO’s “Eastbound & Down.” Check it out here. Manson is also lending his voice to the ABC show “Once Upon A TIme,” where he will be doing voiceovers as a character called Shadow. Manson has also done small roles on the Showtime series Californication — where he played himself — and the Sundance Channel programWrong Cops. I had posted a Funny or Die clip he appeared in last week, I think he could use some acting lessons, though, I’m just saying’…..Happy 55th today to Robert Patrick, actor brother to Richard Patrick of Filter.
