I am sure that more will come to light in this but what we do know as of now is that Tommy Vext and Bad Wolves have indeed parted ways. Tommy initially posted something on Instagram and then deleted it but then the band confirmed it
The band made an official statement in which they promise to carry on as a band:
“It is true that Bad Wolves and vocalist Tommy Vext have parted ways,” the bands shared on their social pages. “The four of us plan to continue making music and a new album is planned for later this year. Tommy has been a big part of Bad Wolves and we are grateful for his contributions. There is not much else to report at this moment but to send love and gratitude to the fans who have supported Bad Wolves from day one. We would not be here without you.”
Vext has stated that his exit was connected to issues within the band and with the band’s record label, Better Noise Music, over his conservative political beliefs. In the crazy year that was 2020 Vext had made a number of political statements that drew attention from the BLM movement to his support of President Trump
In addition Vext had been accused of assault by his former girlfriend, fitness model and personal trainer Whitney Johns. Vext denied these allegations and, following an additional court hearing, Johns was granted a two-year domestic violence restraining order against Vext. Reports suggested Vext had been physically abusive to Johns, citing incidents of violence pertaining to strikes that drew blood, a chokehold that nearly caused Johns to lose consciousness, among other instances of brutality.
We at HardDrive believe that all are innocent until proven guilty and support everyone’s rights to hold their own beliefs.
