Here are the rock star guests joining Lou Brutus on HardDrive Radio and HardDrive XL!

This weekend on HardDrive Radio with Lou Brutus, we will present our 30th Anniversary show! Debuting over the 4th of July in 1996, we’ve spent each week over the last three decades bringing you kick ass new Rock music and conversation with the stars who make it. However, for this special occasion, we will draw each of the interviews from the HardDrive Archive. You’ll hear from Ozzy Osbourne, Lars Ulrich of Metallica, David Draiman of Disturbed, Chester Bennington of Linkin Park, Corey Taylor of Slipknot, Jonathan Davis of KoRn, and Ivan Moody of Five Finger Death Punch. Plus, each song we play (except one) will be drawn from our 30 Songs from 30 Years list. It features one tune from each year of the show’s history. As the original weekend edition of HardDrive Radio with Lou Brutus celebrates its 30th anniversary over the 4th of July weekend, we are marking the occasion with our 30 Songs from 30 Years list. Beginning with the program’s debut in 1996 and going right up to 2025, we’ve taken one song from each year of the show’s three-decade history. The selections are based on each tune’s original show airplay and listener requests in that given year, coupled with sales and streaming numbers. Everyone at HardDrive Radio is pumped for the 2026 edition of ROCK FEST in Cadott WI! It runs July 16, 17 and 18, with a Bonus Bash show on the 15th. Our own Lou Brutus returns as host of a lineup that’s crammed with amazing artists! It’s time for the annual Year End Rear End Revue on hardDrive with Lou Brutus. Over the weekend of December 27/28 2025, it’s a two-hour look back at the best hard rocking music of 2025. Our guests will include Shinedown, Halestorm, Tom Morello, Taylor Momsen, The Devil Wears Prada, and Nevertel.

Then this coming week on hardDrive XL with Lou Brutus will feature our New Year’s Eve Special. We’ll look back at the biggest music, artists, and news of the year! Our guests for New Year’s Eve on December 31st 2025 will include Disturbed, Shinedown, System of a Down, Five Finger Death Punch, Papa Roach, Mudvayne, Slash, Deftones, Tom Morello, and Megadeth. Over the weekend of December 20/21, the Nightmare Before Christmas on HardDrive brings you two-hours of hard rocking holiday sounds and stories from our guests KoRn, Corey Taylor, Halestorm, Rise Against, Skillet, and The Black Crowes.

Then we kick off Merry Riffmas Week on hardDrive XL beginning Monday December 22. Joining us each night as Featured Guitarist of the Week will be Tom Morello. Other special guest guitarists will be Wolfgang Van Halen of Mammoth, Dan Donegan of Disturbed, Dave Mustaine of Megadeth, Slash of Guns ‘N’ Roses, and Zoltan Bathory of Five Finger Death Punch.

It’s been a busy run of live concerts around the country for Lou Brutus and HardDrive Radio!

In recent weeks, Lou Brutus has been to Baltimore MD to cover Deftones, then in Des Moines IA to host the L.D. 50 25th Anniversary Tour featuring Mudvayne, Static-X, and Vended. This was followed by a run of days traveling on the Rise of Roach Tour with Papa Roach, Rise Against, and Underoath. It included a day off in Washington DC where Lou took the band to some of the nation’s finest art galleries! He then bounced back to Madison WI to host the nEVEREST Tour with Halestorm, Lindsey Stirling, and Apocalyptica. While in town, LB also took to time to photograph the former site of Smart Studios, where classic albums were recorded by the likes of Nirvana, The Smashing Pumpkins, Garbage, and many others. Soon after, Lou doubled back to the east coast for Seether, Daughtry, and P.O.D.

Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne are the Godfathers of Heavy Metal and a band which has always been close to our hearts. Lou Brutus has been gathering content for months to prepare for the bittersweet moment in music history, as our heroes perform their farewell and pass into the void. It begins Monday July 1st as HardDrive Radio XL rolls out a week of programs with rock stars singing the praises of Ozzy and Sabbath. Guests include A Day To Remember, ARCHITECTS, Five Finger Death Punch, Ghost, Halestorm, Billy Morrison, The Offspring, Shinedown, System Of A Down, and Three Days Grace.
